Thanks for clearing that up. I have often wondered what the “Local search volume” stands for. I actually thought it meant the number of searches for that keyword in your city. Excellent post. Now how did you get it to rank #1 for “Local Monthly Searches” ? Good job! I guess it must be that “Chicago-style SEO”

Actually Babor_7ulu, that’s not quite right. Local isn’t as small of an area as a “locality/region.” It’s the COUNTRY you select in the LANGUAGE you select. It has nothing to do with states, provinces, cities, counties, etc. It’s COUNTRIES. Not very local at all really.

Local search volume means the number of searches the keyword getting from your locality/region.And global search volume means the number of searches the keyword getting globally/around the world.

If you’re targeting a product in your locality,then refer the local search volume.
